This is the elephant in the room that everyone seems to ignore when they cheer cord cutting on. Instead of paying $250 / month for internet/cable/phone you’ll pay $250 / month for internet and maybe get free cable/phone. And as streaming proliferates every broadcaster/studio will end up being a separate stream that will cost you $10-$15/month on top of that.
That does not exactly explain it for me. I keep wondering what a WAM signal looks like on a spectrum analyzer. Can a constellation diagram be shown like with QAM? This is a combination both phase and amplitude modulation where multiple bits are represented by unique carrier phase-amplitude combinations. Each combination is called a baud or symbol. For example 2QAM is just BPSK. 4QAM represents two bits per symbol and is generally known as QPSK. 16QAM codes 4-bits per symbol.
